We are thrilled to have won an award for our Insight system at the Patient Experience Network National Awards (PENNA) which took place recently.
The Insight system, which helps us to understand the voice of the local population by bringing together patient experience, feedback and public opinion into one database, was chosen by judges as the top entry in the Commissioning for Patient Experience category.
The PENNA awards celebrate best practice in the delivery of exceptional patient experience so winning the award is a huge accolade for the team.
Lesley Goodburn, our head of communications and engagement, said: “It’s fantastic news that we’ve won this award. The success is a tribute to our dedicated team, who have been working on the project for five years. We’re now looking forward to rolling out the database across the whole CSU area, so that many more patients can benefit.”
Insight is a tool to help identify trends and issues within health economies, and it’s helped healthcare professionals to see real time feedback from patients about their services so they can identify where improvements and changes to services can be made. The system has now been developed to include real time clinical feedback from GPs and incident reporting which can help to identify themes and trends in the quality of services.
The next phase in the development of Insight will see it rolled out across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Central Midlands and Lancashire.
