Interact, share, learn and win!

Did you know that you can interact with engagement colleagues from across your region through the professional forum on the Involvement website? If not, it’s time to log on and get connected, as you might be missing out on information which could help with your next engagement project.

The professional forum gives any engagement professional who has registered on the Involvement website the ability to interact online with colleagues to share experiences, discuss projects and ask for advice.

For those of you looking to engage with the nine protected characteristics, there's a new group on the forum focussing on transgender communities so make sure you stop by to say hello.

The forum can be accessed via the ‘Interact’ section of the website. If you have a problem accessing it, you can contact the Insight and Involvement team by calling 0121 612 3806 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We’re also giving you the opportunity to win a free training session on an engagement topic of your choice by sending us a case study showcasing an engagement project you think colleagues would like to hear about.

Case studies are a great way to give colleagues an overview of a project, the approach you took as well as what went well and what didn’t. We hope that you will help us to create a library of case studies on the Involvement website which colleagues can use to inform their approach to engagement projects.

Your case study should be no longer than 500 words and should be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by 5pm on Friday 12 June 2015. We’ll notify the winner the following week and share the case study in the next Involvement newsletter. Good luck!
